Re-Districting: The final re-districting plans from Grand Lodge were
announced. Our lodge has been affected by the re-districting, and we will
become part of the 15 North District after 12/29/08. The 15th District which
is the district that we were moved from the last time there was a
re-districting, will be split into north and south. We will
still be part of the 14th lodge of instruction until the end of June 09’,
after which, there will be new Lodge of Instructions to correspond to the
changes in the districts. This news is exciting, because we have a lot of friendships with our brethren in the 14th district and we now have the opportunity to reconnect with some brothers that we may have lost contact with over the past few years, building upon our friendships in the 14th and 15th districts. This will make our lodge stronger, because we will still be able to work with our friends and brothers in the 14th district and with our new friends and brothers in the 15 north district as well. |
